Our Story

In the mid-1970's, my father, Gary Miller (featured on the left in the top photo and second from the left in the following one), initiated his training in the hands on skill of SMAW also know as stick welding. During this time he had no idea that the skills he would acquire in the next 15 years would be the same knowledge that he would be imparting on his children, grandchildren and a number of helpers.

Over the following years, 'Pops' acquired skills in MIG, TIG and Oxy-Acetylene welding, yet he chose to continue pursuing pipeline work.

During our time in his teaching space, he educated is on more than just welding techniques, stressing the importance of Perfection, Consistency, Honesty and Integrity. These core values are essential not only in our careers but also in our daily lives.

Burning Sage Integrity is built on his values and we plan to maintain these in all the work we complete for our clients. As a Indigenous owned and operated company we understand the need to treat each and every customer as well as the site we are on with dignity and respect.
